Address matching automatically checks whether a shipment can be delivered digitally or physically. The check is based on postal addresses or e-mail addresses, which are transmitted as structured XML or JSON metadata. Das System prüft, ob der Empfänger die ePost-App nutzt, für eBill registriert ist oder den Brief physisch per Post erhalten soll, und stellt entsprechend zu.
Ihre Daten geniessen höchste Sicherheit. Alle Dokumente werden mehrstufig verschlüsselt und auf Servern in der Schweiz gespeichert. Der gesamte Dienst unterliegt dem Briefgeheimnis, genau wie der traditionelle Postversand.
