Do recipients need the Swiss Post-App?

Anyone who has the Swiss Post-App will see the iLetter directly under “My digital mail” in the digital inbox. Over a million people in Switzerland already use the inbox.

How does shipping work if some of my recipients don’t have the Swiss Post-App?

Individual recipients who do not have the Swiss Post-App: They receive an e-mail with an encrypted one-time link. They can then use this link to access the iLetter, enter their answers and send them back encrypted. This way, you can also reach people who do not have the app – without any media breaks.

Do I need to connect my existing systems to create and send iLetters in ePost Studio?

No. You can create and send iLetters completely without integration. Build your iLetter in the ePost Studio, send it manually and evaluate the success of your mailings in the dashboard. If you want to send structured data back to your CRM or claims system, we offer the “iLetter + System Integration” package with standard connectors without an integration project.

Can I send iLetter (digital business reply label) anonymously (GDPR compliant)?

Yes. In anonymous mass mailings (e.g. member or employee surveys), answers are evaluated exclusively in aggregate form. This means that no individual recipients can be traced. This makes iLetter GDPR-compliant even for sensitive surveys.
