ePost-Konto eröffnen: Öffne die ePost-App und registriere dich neu mit deiner E-Mail-Adresse. Alternativ kannst du dich direkt mit einem bestehenden Swiss ID-Konto anmelden.

Postadresse verifizieren: Wenn du dich neu mit deiner E-Mail Adresse angemeldet hat, gib deine Postadresse in der App ein und bestätige per Klick auf "Adresse verifizieren".  Innerhalb weniger Tage erhältst du einen Verifizierungscode per Brief an deine Hausadresse. Trage diesen unter den Adresseingaben ein und bestätige.

Die Verifizierung der Adresse entfällt, wenn du den SwissID Login der Post benutzt, da sie hier bereits verifiziert ist.

ePost Scanning Service abonnieren. Öffne die ePost-App und klicke dann in deinem Profil auf "Widget Store". Es erscheint ein Banner zum  Scanning Service und dieser ist per Klick direkt bestellbar. 

Geschafft! Nach 3-5 Tagen ist der Service voll aktiv und du kannst den Sommer papierlos geniessen.

How long does it take for me to receive my mail digitally?

From the time you order the scanning service, it can take 3-5 days until the mail redirection to the scan centre is active and you subsequently receive the majority of your letters by ePost.

Can I read my digital mail abroad too?

Yes. Once your digital letterbox has been set up, you have access to it from anywhere in the world. An Internet connection is required.

Can I also use the “retain mail” service in parallel with the ePost scanning service?

You cannot use both services in parallel. The “retain mail” service automatically disables the ePost scanning service. It then has to be reactivated via support.

Can several people use an ePost account together?

Yes. You can record several addresses in Switzerland in your ePost account. For example, for second homes in Switzerland and also for other people who live in your household. These are included in the monthly subscription.
